Earth & Fire specialise in artisan breads and using their mobile, hand-made, wood fired clay oven they bake fresh, made to order pizza. Our dough like our oven is hand made using our own special recipe. Our toppings are of highest quality sourced from local suppliers whenever possible.
You can visit them at thee wood-fired bakery at the National Trust Gibside estate in Rowlands Gill. Here they combine their mastery of wood-fired baking with their knowledge of the best ingredients from the locality. These ingredients include the highest quality, rare bread pork from our Gibside neighbours High Strothers Farm butchers. It also includes fruits, vegetables and herbs farmed and foraged from the Gibside walled garden and woods. They combine this to bring you such delights as herb focaccias, flavoured bread, blackberry bakewell tarts and succulent sausage rolls.
